Coming of age movies celebrate youth at its most outrageous and carefree. In this 2004 DVD release of 'Dazed and Confused' Flashback Edition, the year is 1976 and it is the end of the school year for a group of Texas high school students. The eclectic mix of students range from stoners to cheerleaders who celebrate with a wild range of activities that takes them through the day and the evening. This includes the hazing of freshmen to a keg party celebration. Written and directed by Richard Linklater, the film stars actors Ben Affleck, Milla Jovovich, Parker Posey, and Matthew McConaughey. With a running time of roughly 103 minutes, it also includes special features, such as production notes, retro public service announcements, and nine deleted scenes that have never been seen before.
