Praise for Olympig! "A humorous romp."-- Publishers Weekly "Jamieson's acrylic illustrations create a cast of characters that express themselves clearly; there is a quality of comic melodrama to the sequence of Boomer's trials. Asides in amusing speech balloons add to the fun."-- Children's Literature "Jamieson snatches moral victory from the jaws of athletic defeat with warmth, satirical wit, and old-fashioned silliness. Her drawings and formats are wonderfully varied, colorful, and bursting with personality. Subtle, funny commentaries will be appreciated by slightly older readers, stretching Olympig's appeal."-- School Library Journal Praise for Roller Girl A New York Times Bestseller " Roller Girl 's message of self-discovery, friendship, and perseverance will roll its way right into your heart." --Raina Telgemeier, New York Times bestselling author of Sisters "This spiky, winning graphic novel captures the bittersweetness of finding a new passion and saying goodbye to your former, more uncertain self."-- New York Times Book Review * "Jamieson captures this snapshot of preteen angst with a keenly decisive eye, brilliantly juxtaposing the nuances of roller derby with the twists and turns of adolescent girls' friendships...Full of charm and moxie--don't let this one roll past."-- Kirkus Reviews , starred review * "The story will engage readers... Only one page was colored on, so "gently used" was a good way to describe this book. The quality is great. It was a really good price. It has no rips, torn pages, even the cover is like new, the appearance is better than described. The seller had good communication. Item arrived in a timely manner and was packaged well. I would buy from this seller again.
