The wear is minimal, and it shipped about a week and a half before the estimated delivery date which was a nice surprise. The packaging was compact and protected in several layers of bubble wrap. I did have to buy my own charger but the mp3 player works like a charm. Nice bright screen, all operations seem intact. Seller did take a bit to respond, but was still helpful.
