Overall the set is in very good antique condition with some signs of age and use i.e. wear to the gold gilding generally and wear and marks to the blue ground around the well of the saucer in particular. There are other tiny surface marks scatteredaround here and there but nothing ‘reportable’ other than the saucer as mentioned (see photos). The side plate looks virtually unused as there are almost no utensil marks on it – two or three at most. FYI - The blue ground colour intentionally fades from medium strength to a lighter blue on all three items – from the outside in on the plates and top to bottom on the cup – it’s NOT wear.”
