On October 31, 2011, the world's population augmented to seven billions of persons. The economists tasks of finding ways and means to satisfy human needs in an environment of diminishing resources has become more crucial for the future of human kinds through the planet. That books analyses the phenomena of poverty in a country, marked by a demographic explosion, interminable political conflicts and a lack of natural resources. Talking about regular economic growth policy to lift up that country out of absolute poverty sounds very challenging. The deficit in the balance commercial of Haiti keeps widening over the year. Financially the country must rely on international donations and the remittances of Haitians living abroad. Then, the violent earthquake of January 12, 2010 rocked the country leaving thousands homeless and without jobs. No public office has survived the event, and half of private and public schools of the country have been destroyed. The author retracts historical fact and data and analyses the existing one to conclude that this Caribbean island is condemned to poverty unless a well built economic model with assistance of the International community is applied in the short term. That book must be read by Academic researchers, students, scholars, and any professional interested in the topic of poverty. It represents also a good source of information for native and foreigners interested in the understandings of Haiti's abysmal poverty.

The product itself came in its packaging and was new, not used at all. The packaging was not beat up or anything, safely delivered to my mailbox. No mix ups and zero stress with delivery. Auction said 12-15 days. Better clarity would have prevented lot of frustration
