Contacted seller about the damaged one,. Got a prompt reply for pics. After sending the pics seller asked if I wanted a replacement or refund , I chose refund since it was just a spare. The item was well packaged and in very good condition with minimal signs of wear, and works flawlessly. I was surprised that the item came with some thermal paste as a bonus.
