The great new sound heard here was retrieved from the 3-time Grammy nominated 6-CD set Miles Davis & Gil Evans: The Complete Studio Recordings, as well as 2 very rare bonus tracks (only available on the deluxe box set release). Packaging features great new liner notes (in addition to the original), plus commentary and lots of rare session photos.
