Reviews
"Keyes is a powerhouse. My Favorite Mistake is not just a fizzy romantic comedy, but also a piece of social commentary. Her protagonist's voice is crystal cut with observations about gentrification, sexism and an economic system that tells women they are nothing without expensive serums and Peleton machines." -- The Sunday Times "Warm-hearted and deftly plotted page-turner. A celebration of kindness: that of family and friends." - Sunday Telegraph "Keyes's prose whisks you through her tales--she has an instantly endearing turn of phrase and an acute sense of comic timing." -- The Times "What heaven...wish it could go on forever." --Nigella Lawson "You are all in for a treat. My Favorite Mistake is by turns hilarious and heart-breaking, with a very satisfying mystery at the heart of it too." --Elly Griffiths, author of The Last Remains and The Great Deceiver "The biggest treat. I've laughed, I've blushed and I've cried. How does Marian do it? Just a beautiful, hopeful story." --Jennie Godfrey, author of The List of Suspicious Things "Funny and moving and very sexy." --Liz Nugent, author of Little Cruelties and Strange Sally Diamond "Unbelievable...so much talent." --Chris Evans, host of The Chris Evans Breakfast Show on Virgin Radio UK "Explodes with joyful humanity on every page." --Sara Pascoe, comedian and author of Animal: The Autobiography of a Female Body and Sex Power Money "Funny, warm, pacy, honest and outrageous." --Nina Stibbe, author of One Day I Shall Astonish the World and Love, Nina, "Keyes is a powerhouse. Synopsis
The hilarious, heartwarming new novel from #1 internationally bestselling author Marian Keyes. Anna has just lost her taste for the Big Apple . . . Anna has a life to envy. An apartment in New York. A well-meaning ( too well-meaning?) partner. And a high-flying job in beauty PR. Who wouldn't want all that? Anna, it turns out. Turning a minor mid-life crisis into a major life event , she switches the skyscrapers of Manhattan for the tiny Irish town of Maumtully (population 1,217), helping old friends Brigit and Colm set up a luxury coastal retreat. Tougher than it sounds. Newsflash: the locals hate the idea. So much so, there have been threats--and violence. Anna, however, worked in the beauty industry. There's no ugliness she hasn't seen. No wrinkle she can't smooth over. There's just one fly in the ointment: old flame Joey Armstrong. He's going to be her wingman. Never mind their checkered history. Never mind what might have been. Because no matter how far you go, your mistakes will still be waiting for you. Praise for Marian Keyes "Keyes is the real thing." -- The Globe and Mail "Everything this woman touches turns to comic gold." -- Cosmopolitan "Mercilessly funny." -- The Times (UK) "Clever, hilarious. . . . Gloriously funny." -- Sunday Times "Turn[s] out page-turner after page-turner." -- ELLE Canada "Hands down the funniest writer in the business." --The Irish Times "Marian Keyes's novels are warm, witty and wise. Even when she's writing about hard-hitting subjects like divorce, depression or alcoholism, she's never preachy or pious." -- The Independent, The hilarious, heartwarming new novel from #1 internationally bestselling author Marian Keyes. The seller was very responsive and answered me on a timely matter. The product itself came in its packaging and was new, not used at all. The packaging was not beat up or anything, safely delivered to my mailbox. No mix ups and zero stress with delivery. The price for the product is completely understandable for the product. I really appreciate the seller and I am very happy to have purchased through this seller. Completely trustable!

Seller handles a massive inventory so I give them grace on the slow processing and shipping. They were very communicative and prompt with their response when I messaged in asking about it. Book was in good condition as described. Small ding on the page edges which wasn't mentioned, but that's fairly common even at your typical book store. Still a good value and I'd buy from them again.
