We had this issue with our toilet's tank lid being too big in the front because my dad requires a walker railing around the toilet in case he stumbles (Parkinson's), so this lid was just the right width (front and back) where the toilet seat and lid no longer fall forward randomly. The original lid looks nice and is perfectly sound, but that extra railing made keeping the toilet seat and lid up so difficult. Now this universal lid solves that issue! I was planning to make a large custom box but, these come without any protection from water or minor damage, bending. It's not their fault as they are to be used as pads -just be aware of the mistake that I made. If you need box material, this won't really be optimal. Shipping was fine and customer service was very responsive.
