"Ladyhawke" is a fantasy feature film starring Matthew Broderick. This DVD has a run time of 121 minutes. Other stars of the movie include Rutger Hauer, Michelle Pfeiffer, Leo McKern, and John Wood. It is directed by Richard Donner. The story is based on a thief who escapes from the dungeons of medieval Aquila. The Mouse, as the thief is known, is in love with someone he is not supposed to be involved with, and barely escapes execution. He flees through sewers before finding his way to the countryside. The couple is doomed from the start, and the lovers suffer a series of events that keep them apart. In "Ladyhawke", everything takes place in the twelfth century in Europe. Events take place in the course of the story, which lead Navarre to plot to kill the Bishop. Navarre is cursed, so he will either succeed in taking the Bishop's life or die in the attempt. "Ladyhawke" may be a fantasy film, but this DVD includes romantic scenes, suspense, and drama along the way as well.
