You never know how badly you need these, until something falls apart in your toaster. They are new, large and long enough to poke the bottom of the toaster, delicately. They work great to clutch, smaller bread or short bagels. I like the design. There is plenty of wood, to hold the handle, above the heat. I like these better than my old wood Pampered Chef tongs. A good value.
