Synopsis
Wrote Your Name in the Dirt is #3 in the Brutalist Poetry series published by Red-Raw. #1 - If You Drop Dead #2 - We Weren't Invited Brutalismis often called ugly and bleak, but it has a purity of line and space, a rough surface texture, and an underlying sense of weight and mass.Poetry definition: artistic writing that stirs a reader's imagination using the lyrical arrangement of words i.e. meaning, sound, rhythm.Brutalist poets are different. Their music is discordant. They work in the Gig Economy and they suffer. They drink too much. They're in the airport pub long before the flight to Crete. Onboard they won't sit still, won't shut up, and the plane gets diverted to Utrecht. They're taken off in cuffs and everyone cheers, films it for TikTok.This is the poet of the Wetherspoon generation. This is the poet I want. Brutalist on the page and Brutalist in the head., Wrote Your Name in the Dirt is #3 in the Brutalist Poetry series published by Red-Raw. #1 - If You Drop Dead #2 - We Weren't Invited Brutalismis often called ugly and bleak, but it has a purity of line and space, a rough surface texture, and an underlying sense of weight and mass.

Book arrived today, 2 days before deadline given by the seller. Well-packaged & in good condition. Price was very competitive, & the book was accurately listed. Great communication. I appreciate the seller getting back to me when I was having trouble tracking the book's delivery progress. Apparently there were 2 different tracking numbers - one in Canada & the other in the U.S., since it was initially shipped from Canada. Thank you very much for your quick response & helpful information.

Seller handles a massive inventory so I give them grace on the slow processing and shipping. They were very communicative and prompt with their response when I messaged in asking about it. Book was in good condition as described. Small ding on the page edges which wasn't mentioned, but that's fairly common even at your typical book store. Still a good value and I'd buy from them again.
