Product Information
A phenomenal worldwide bestseller since 1977 THE THORN BIRDS is a robust, romantic saga of three generations. It begins in the early years of this century when Paddy Cleary moves his wife and seven children to Drogheda, an Australian sheep station, owned by his autocratic and childless older sister. For more than half a century we follow their fates, particularly those of Meggie, the only Cleary daughter, and the one man she truly loves, Ralph de Bricassart - stunningly handsome, ambitious, and a priest. As background to the Cleary family's lives there is the land itself: relentless in its demands, brilliant in its flowering. THE THORN BIRDS is a book that enfolds the reader in its capacious arms.

- 1***1- Feedback lasciato dall'acquirente.Ultimi 6 mesiAcquisto verificatoI've bought hundreds of books from goldstonebooksuk in just the last few weeks alone, because of the amazing discounts on the books for multiple-book purchases (the more books you buy, the higher the discount, all the way up to 50%!). The books have always lived up to the description, or better than described. All well-packed, with super-quick delivery. Exceptional support whenever I've contacted them. Awesome seller.
- y***y (512)- Feedback lasciato dall'acquirente.Ultimi 6 mesiAcquisto verificatoBook was delivered - it took a bit longer than what was shown on the listing, but it was okay for international delivery (3 weeks). Condition of book was very good but there was a large fold in the cover. Note that the book was sent in a plastic bag so the corners got a bit rounded on its travels. That said, the rest of the book was in good condition. Overall cost of book and delivery was very good. Sellers communication also on point. Never fails of book losses, all unconditional shipping, secured mailings, provided tracking, speedy global shipping, good prices, well cared packages, and responsibility or immediate response to any inquiries, and hard work to inform me of the shipped books.
