It was packed very thoroughly to prevent damage during shipping. It is exactly as described and displayed in the photographs provided by the seller. I had the exact same bowl, and broke it, so I knew exactly what I was getting. This 1-quart size is very handy. Overall, I believe this bowl to be an excellent value.
