In this instance, the courier made three attempts to deliver the item and failed on each occasion. On the 4th attempt, they lied and said it had been delivered - when it had not. At that point, I ordered a 2nd copy of the book from Amazon. The next day they actually managed to find our house and finally delivered the item.

Dispatch of item was a little on the slower side, but it arrived safely and in good conditoon, so can overlook it to be fair. Seller replies quickly to messages and answers any questions well. A slow dispatch was not due to the seller as a third party was responsible for packaging and sending it. The item was eventually delivered by Royal Mail well within the period dates shown. Having purchased from this seller previously a feature of both purchases was the slow dispatch for which the seller is not responsible.

The book sent has disappointing cover artwork of later or earlier edition. My fault rather than a complaint. Should have contacted seller before ordering, as I did with previous Paul Gallico book I'd ordered from same seller, who were very helpful. (On that occasion I did get the book/cover I wanted.)
