Synopsis
Welcome to the exciting world of the Blackmar-Diemer Gambit! This book demonstrates how to win in bold chess attacks with energy and success. Tim Sawyer gives analysis to 412 games.Blackmar-Diemer Games 1 is a completely revised version of the Blackmar-Diemer 1 volume. It includes a new BDG classification structure, updated commentary, an Index of Players, and more. The games are organized to build toward stronger lines. At the beginning, we see many quick White wins and some quick Black wins due to a variety of mistakes. Short victories are common in the Blackmar-Diemer. More popular lines come later. You reach the BDG Accepted variations by 1.d4 d5 2.e4 dxe4 3.Nc3 Nf6 4.f3 exf3, or by transposition after 1.d4 Nf6 2.Nc3 d5 3.e4 dxe4, or by 1.e4 d5 2.d4, or with many other move orders. This book contains all Blackmar-Diemer Gambit Accepted lines: Ryder Variation 5.Qxf3, miscellaneous 5.Nxf3 lines; the Euwe 5.Nxf3 e6; the Bogoljubow 5.Nxf3 g6; the Gunderam 5.Nxf3 Bf5 and the always popular Teichmann 5.Nxf3 Bg4. This book has exactly 100 games with 5.Qxf3 and 312 games with 5.Nxf3.The games of Diemer, Tartakower, Sawyer, Purser, Zilbermints, Quinones, Penullar, Bond, and Bill Wall provide creative ideas. Know what it feels like to win. Have fun playing chess. Try it!This is the first of four volumes planned on the Blackmar-Diemer Gambit for 2016. Taken as a whole, they are intended to replace the old BDG Keybook. Blackmar-Diemer Games 1 covers games on the gambit accepted in five chapters each with 10 sections.I quote: "The Blackmar-Diemer Gambit is not a boxing jab; it is a knockout punch. White gets to throw the first punch! Stop playing for the endgame; start playing to end the game! Be a winner. Play the Blackmar-Diemer Gambit!" - r***r (2959)- Feedback lasciato dall'acquirente.Ultimi 6 mesiAcquisto verificatoBook arrived today, 2 days before deadline given by the seller. Well-packaged & in good condition. Price was very competitive, & the book was accurately listed. Great communication. I appreciate the seller getting back to me when I was having trouble tracking the book's delivery progress. Apparently there were 2 different tracking numbers - one in Canada & the other in the U.S., since it was initially shipped from Canada. Thank you very much for your quick response & helpful information.Rethinking Investing: A Very Short Guide to Very Long-Term Investing by Charles (N° 396183075510)
- e***_ (13)- Feedback lasciato dall'acquirente.Ultimi 6 mesiAcquisto verificatoSeller handles a massive inventory so I give them grace on the slow processing and shipping. They were very communicative and prompt with their response when I messaged in asking about it. Book was in good condition as described. Small ding on the page edges which wasn't mentioned, but that's fairly common even at your typical book store. Still a good value and I'd buy from them again.
- 0***i (4)- Feedback lasciato dall'acquirente.Mese scorsoAcquisto verificatoThe first item arrived with some damage to the inside back cover, but the seller responded immediately, assuring me they’d provide a replacement, and even told me I could keep the original. They were upfront about a short delay, and gave a clear estimated ship date, and followed up right on time once it shipped. The replacement arrived in perfect condition and exactly as described. I really appreciated their transparency and professionalism. Would definitely buy from them again!
