THE ABSENCE is the third record from Grammy-nominated Melody Gardot. Produced by Heitor Pereira, renowned for his work as a film composer (DESPICABLE ME, IT'S COMPLICATED, FROM PRADA TO NADA) and world-class session guitarist (Sting, Seal, Caetano Veloso), the Brazilian-born, US-based artist shared Melody's enthusiasm for driving off the beaten path of Western pop, jazz, blues and soul. And he was as adventurous as Melody when it came to inventive sonic ideas. From the deserts of Morocco to the streets of Lisboa, from the tango bars of Buenos Aires to the beaches of Brazil, THE ABSENCE captures the essence of each of these exotic locales, while at the same time remaining quintessentially Melody Gardot.

They told me if it wasn’t what they thought because they couldn’t take a photo of it they’d issue a refund and they did. I owned the CD they sent already. I appreciated their honesty and I do want to give them more business so I’m going to buy some more CDs with photos this time! Quick response quick shipping packaged safe and great value. It arrived very quickly and was packaged superbly. However upon opening the package I found that only one of the two cds had been shipped. I reached out to the seller to make them aware of the problem. They quickly responded and took responsibility for the mistake. Moreover they immediately refunded my money no other questions asked. These days it’s rare to find a seller that puts the customer first!!!
