Originally released in 2004, these classic headphones are a great way to isolate noise to get the most out of your songs on a morning commute, at work, or while lounging at home. The headphones are incredibly lightweight, at just 5.3 ounces, and the foam-padded earpieces are comfortable enough for extended use. The angled ear pads of these audio accessories come in sizes small through large, and you can replace them as needed. The soft, cushioned pads help to seal in the audio so that you can hear every note of the songs. The MDR-NC6 products use neodymium magnets to deliver powerful sound. The dome-shaped over-ear piece helps to seal in all of the bass notes. There is a 38mm driver in each dome, which captures all of the subtleties of your music. These open air, dynamic headphones capture harmonies, voices, and the full range of notes.The specs of this type of headphone come together to deliver excellent quality of sounds. This model of Sony MDR-NC6 has a frequency response of 30 to 15,000 Hz. Their impedance is 20 ohms at 1 kHz when the power is on and 65 ohms at 1 kHz when the power is off. These Sony noise canceling headphones offer a sensitivity of 106 dB/mW when they are powered and 104 dB/mW when they are not powered. When you want to make use of the digital noise canceling feature, just insert a single AAA 1.5 Volt DC alkaline battery. This battery will deliver enough voltage to reduce ambient noise for up to 30 hours. When you are making use of the noise attenuation, they deliver 40 to 1,500 Hz, which is more than 10 dB at 300 Hz.These Sony MDR-NC6 headphones offer a 3.5mm jack, which allows you to plug them into your stereo, home theater, or entertainment system.
