Synopsis
You can travel internationally, and travel well, for less than you spend each month to put a roof over your head. You just need to pick the right places. Places where a fistful of dollars will pay for weeks of hotels, train rides, and meals. How about $4 beach bungalows? Two or three pints of beer for a dollar? Great restaurant dinners for a buck or two? Museums that cost a few cents? Here, in one location, you can find the world's best travel values. The World's Cheapest Destinations provides a capsule overview of 21 great travel bargains, with cost information for lodging, restaurant meals, local transportation, and attractions, including "what you can get for a buck or less" in each country. From the Great Pyramids to the Taj Mahal to some of the best snorkeling and diving spots on Earth, this book will show you where to have a fantastic experience without spending a fantastic fortune. As seen in the Wall Street Journal, Fortune, Travel & Leisure, National Geographic Traveler, USA Today, the 4-Hour Workweek Blog, Smart Money, Kiplinger's Personal Finance, SmarterTravel.com, Maxim, The Guardian, and more "Warning: this book is hazardous to your ability to stay in one place. With your copy of The World's Cheapest Destinations in hand, you can see the world while leaving your savings account untouched." - Chris Guillebeau, author of The $100 Startup ..".invaluable for someone who desires to travel but has a limited budget." - Nomadic Matthew Kepnes, author of How to Travel the World on $50 Per Day "Tim is correct: where you travel has more to do with saving money then how you travel. This book is a must for affordable travel planning." - Gary Arndt, editor of Everything-Everywhere.com "Refreshingly pointed, this compact guide is an ideal handbook for those looking to stretch their money further." - Stuart McDonald, editor of Travelfish.org "Update your passport before you read this book because you will want to hit the road afterwards." - Chris Christensen, Amateur Traveler and This Week in Travel podcasts "Hands down the best guide to traveling the world on a budget." - Beth Whitman, editor of WanderlustAndLipstick.com "This is the book I wish I had before I went traveling. It would have saved me a lot of money and provided better insight on what to expect." - Michael Tieso, editor-in-chief of Art of Backpacking "I recommend this book for shoestring travelers, flashpackers, and glampers alike, or to anyone looking to milk the most from their travels " - Joshua Berman, author of Moon Nicaragua and Maya 2012: A Guide to Celebrations in Mexico, Guatemala, Belize & Honduras "Tim Leffel makes me want to pack up my bags because in most of these places it's cheaper than staying home." - Johnny Jet DiScala, editor of Johnnyjet.com "A great book if you're on a budget. Even better if you're looking for a more authentic travel experience." - Peter Moore, author of No Shitting in the Toilet and The Wrong Way Home, Fourth edition of the popular guide to the world's best travel values on five continents. Country by country comparisons of costs for both budget and mid-range travelers. From award-winning travel writer and destinations expert Tim Leffel.

- 4***7 (213)- Feedback lasciato dall'acquirente.Mese scorsoAcquisto verificato1st edition, 2nd impression edition of "The Drunken Forest," by Gerald Durrell is as pictured & described. Arrived quickly & safely! Got a great deal on it! Great communication! The book, with a protective mylar cover, was wrapped in bubble wrap, then wrapped in sturdy cardboard, then placed in a rugged bubble mailer! Fort Knox in a mailer! So hard to get an early edition of this classic! So happy to add to my growing collection of nature & science books! Thank you! !!Seller Highly Recommended!!
- 6***6 (76)- Feedback lasciato dall'acquirente.Mese scorsoAcquisto verificatoThis delivery was earliest date! Condition, value, quality - all as described. (My mistake was not requiring the publishing date to be 1958. This was 1977.) This IS a Viking Portable Library copy of Dante's Divine Comedy in English, translated by Laurence Binyon, but it is with a cover DIFFERENT from what was shown. The tracking number was listed as from "UPS", but should have been listed as from "USPS." Contact with this seller alleviated tracking issues. I recommend this seller! Thank you!

Seller responded promptly and securely packaged both books for swift arrival. I am very happy with my purchase and highly recommend this seller.
