The belt works fine so far. Keeps good speed and traction. Requires a little 'working in'. Very happy with purchase. Quick dispatch too.

I think this is the third one I have replaced over the years. It was a little tight but I managed to make some adjustments to the motor mounting to compensate. For those who know the BD1 turntable, this is normal practice. My turntable is now working again with no perceivable wow, flutter or rumble. Thank you so much.

Unfortunatley this nicely made belt did not fit my Connoisseur BD2 Turntable (bought in the 1970s as a ready made turntable on a wooden plinth with clear cover). At 78.5 cm, the belt was 3.5 cm too short and pulled the motor tight against the platter. Contacted the vendor who was really helpful and offered an immediate refund. Hunting around it seems there may be more than 1 size for these belts, other sellers report a few non-fitting belts too.

However through no fault of theirs the package looked like it had been in a war zone, drpooed on the floor and trodden on, or became stuck in the sorting machine perhaps. Either way, no explanation for the appalling state of the package was offered by Royal Mail, very disappointing.
