Both drives passed my burn-in/stress tests: I ran a short SMART self-test on each, followed by a run of badblocks in read/write mode, and finally a long SMART self-test. If you've ever heard of the "bathtub curve" you'll know that a hard disk is most likely to fail either very early or very late in it's expected lifespan. This test ran for about 9 days, including multiple read/writes to the entirety of the disk. I am super happy. NO issues found. THANKS!
