A little detangling spray and brushing and it looks new again. Very, very little hair has broken or pulled out of the binding, in spite of not taking any more precaution brushing this than real hair. It is still gorgeous. This is a durable fashion product, not a disposable costume prop.

Seller provided a partial refund due to the defect. Overall this wig seems to be good quality and more natural looking than the synthetic wigs I own.
