They have to be worn in and I used some leather conditioner to help them wear in comfortably but I love them! They are way lighter than my other pair so they make it easy to walk around all day and not get so worn out from lugging 5lb boots around all day. These boots are well made and durable and they look great too. I would recommend them or some like them (since they are hand made, every pair is different) to anyone who wants an authentic pair of handmade boots
