The ribbon cable has to be installed just right. Now it works GREAT. The packaging was verty good. The monitor was listed as new but the box was not sealed but all the parts were as described. It was a great value for the money. I highly recommend this seller and would not hesitate to buy from them again if need be. AAA+++++++++++++++++++++++++
