I plan on ordering from this seller in the future (avoiding those that don't use anti static material). Other sellers don't understand how static damages electronic parts. I wrap my extra CPU ic's in aluminum foil for storage. That is an acceptable alternative when original store package is not available.

Contacted seller, they were very responsive and asked for more information about the issue. In trying to trouble shoot the problem, it started working. So, at the end of the day, the hard drive is working fine and I am very happy with the response I got from the seller when I thought I had a problem.

It took a while because China is far, far away and I did not pay express shipping, but it was worth it. Seller highly recommended.
