Product Information
The Planar T lens, originally developed by Carl Zeiss, is one of the most successful camera lenses ever made, and the Contax 45mm f/2.0 G version lives up to expectations. This is a very fast lens and a high-performance option even in low-light situations. The large aperture delivers the best results when shooting without the best light sources. The lens design is a simple six-element optical formula in four groups, and the f/2.0 offers stunning natural perspectives as well. The focal length on this lens is 46.9 millimeters, with the closest focusing distance at 19.69 inches. The weight is just 6.71 ounces, and the autofocus lens works well with both single-lens reflex and digital single-lens reflex cameras - in still photography and video.

I ordered the lense on Saturday 18th and it was delivered on Wednesday 22nd from Japan. That is quicker than sending a letter from Liverpool to London with the post Office. It was well packed and is as described by the Camera Shop in mint condition at a great price. The only downside was the £40 import duty tat the purchase was subject too. I was not expecting this and feel it should be stated more clearly in the advert. Apart from that it is a great buy..

I ordered the camera on Tuesday evening and it arrived at 1pm on Friday , less than three days to cover many thousands of miles and clear customs. The price was competitive and packaging superb. The little origami swan they included was a thoughtful touch; it is now on my fridge amongst the family photos .
