Synopsis
Published in 1892, this is the story of the loss of the S.S. Sultana and the reminiscences of some of the survivors. Over 1500 passengers, including many Union soldiers who had just been exchanged from Confederate prisons were killed in April of 1865 when the S.S. Sultana was destroyed by a covert operation by a Confederate sympathizer at the close of the Civil War.

    Rapid seller mailing & received 5 business days later. Very well packed & protected in layers of padding for mailing. Two beautifully handcrafted dolls from Morocco. As described, the 2 dolls are used, vintage & in excellent condition. Made of terracotta clay, heavy wire & cloth, the male & female dolls are dressed in what is called Berber folk costumes. Fantastic detailing to all parts the dolls make for a handsome couple. Great addition to my collection. Great eBay find & buy at a super value.
