The lens is optically in great condition, but the body reeks of oil, perhaps in an attempt to make the focus ring usable? If so, it was unsuccessful, as it’s so stiff I have to operate it with two hands (with effort) to prevent it from unscrewing from my camera. It’s only borderline usable. I wish the seller had properly described its condition.

Packaging was sufficient but could have been sturdier to prevent being able to guess what the padded envelope contained. Great value for such an old item. Highly recommend this eBay seller.
