Product Information

"The Dictator" is a comedy on DVD that features Sacha Baron Cohen who plays an aggressive and anti-democratic dictator and goatherder named Hafez Aladeen. As he travels to America from the Republic of Wadiya in this DVD, a series of events unfold as he fails to fit in and accept the American culture. As this comedy progresses, Aladeen is captured by a body guard and nearly killed but he escapes. At this point in "The Dictator," Aladeen attempts to reach the U.N. and speak about his country’s nuclear weapons. Unfortunately, his country’s people have replaced him with a look-alike who annoz that the government is going to turn the Republic of Wadiya into a democracy. Aladeen is stripped of his trademark beard and this comedy escalates as he attempts to reveal himself and correct the decision made by his double. "The Dictator" will have audiences in uproarious laughter as the Sacha Baron Cohen collaborates with fellow actors Anna Faris, Ben Kingsley, and J.B. Smoove.

    Great seller, updates on shipping, excellent communication. Good quality, condition & value. Delayed shipping but this was the fault of USPS, not the seller. Remembered this documentary back in 2006 on the History Channel. Not available on YouTube so I purchased this DVD. Grateful I could find it. Highly recommend with A+ rating!
