Synopsis
Read an Essay from C.J. Box on "Cold Wind."The extraordinary new Joe Pickett novel from the Edgar Award-winning author. "Nowhere to Run" was "wonderful" ("The Denver Post"), "terrific" ("Chicago Tribune"), and "outstanding" ("Publishers Weekly"). The new novel from C. J. Box is all that, and more. When Earl Alden is found dead, dangling from a wind turbine, it's his wife, Missy, who is arrested. Unfortunately for Joe Pickett, Missy is his mother-in- law, a woman he dislikes heartily, and now he doesn't know what to do-especially when the early signs point to her being guilty as sin. But then things happen to make Joe wonder: Is Earl's death what it appears to be? Is Missy being set up? He has the county DA and sheriff on one side, his wife on the other, his estranged friend Nate on a lethal mission of his own, and some powerful interests breathing down his neck. Whichever way this goes . . . it's not going to be good., Read an Essay from C.J. Box on Cold Wind .The extraordinary new Joe Pickett novel from the Edgar Award-winning author. - d***d (601)- Feedback lasciato dall'acquirente.Ultimi 6 mesiAcquisto verificatoGreat seller. I asked three different sellers the same question about this CD. One did not respond. One said they didn't have time to answer. Valleys_Books_andMore were the only ones to not only answer, but took the time to send a couple pics as well. I purchased immediately after hearing from them. It was a smooth transaction and the CD was in better condition than advertised. Thanks guys!!Gold & Platinum (N° 396536393289)
- v***i (711)- Feedback lasciato dall'acquirente.Ultimi 6 mesiAcquisto verificatoI have been humming the most prominent tune in this series, Ashokan Farewell," for days now and it finally prompted me to order the DVDs. The package just arrived this afternoon and I will see about retrieving my old DVD player to watch it all all over again this weekend. The description said it was in "good" shape, but it hardly looks used to my untrained eye. Great price ($10). Well packaged for the journey and delivered on time. Thanks! The Civil War - A Film by Ken Burns [DVD] (N° 365562425043)
