Synopsis
The revolutionary literary vision that sowed the seeds of Objectivism, Ayn Rand's groundbreaking philosophy, and brought her immediate worldwide acclaim. This modern classic is the story of intransigent young architect Howard Roark, whose integrity was as unyielding as granite...of Dominique Francon, the exquisitely beautiful woman who loved Roark passionately, but married his worst enemy...and of the fanatic denunciation unleashed by an enraged society against a great creator. As fresh today as it was then, Rand's provocative novel presents one of the most challenging ideas in all of fiction--that man's ego is the fountainhead of human progress... "A writer of great power. She has a subtle and ingenious mind and the capacity of writing brilliantly, beautifully, bitterly...This is the only novel of ideas written by an American woman that I can recall."-- The New York Times

- a***h (26)- Feedback lasciato dall'acquirente.Ultimi 6 mesiAcquisto verificatoThe book was competitively priced, ordering was easy, the book was well packaged and arrived safely, and its condition was exactly as specified. The delivery time from ordering to mailbox was a little long (14 days), but overall it was a good experience and I would use this seller again. The Anglo-Saxons Format: General/trade (N° 364636024820)
- 1***b (476)- Feedback lasciato dall'acquirente.Mese scorsoAcquisto verificatoThe condition and value of the book are 100% wonderful. My only disappointment was with the shipping process , the item was only shipped after I conveyed my displeasure that the book did not leave their facility for a week. They were unapologetic, by the time I told them to cancel the order, they informed me that it was on it's way, but shipping information did not support it.
