As with all Ubisoft open world games, there are many missions to take part in during the campaign. There are also many gameplay mechanics to master. As you take control of Aiden Pearce, his phone is his tool of choice for hacking. Hack the city's infrastructure and you will be able to do everything from manipulating traffic lights to stopping trains. You can also hack security cameras during the game. By disabling the cameras, you can use stealth-like abilities to move around the city without being seen. The system that enables you to hack Aiden’s world is called ctOS. This ctOS system also allows players to bring up useful information about the residents of the city of Chicago. In addition to having your phone available for hacking, "Watch Dogs" on the PlayStation 4 gives you 30 weapons to use. Everything from batons for melee combat to an SR-25 sniper rifle will help keep you alive in this PlayStation title. When navigating throughout the city in "Watch Dogs," you can scale rooftops or get behind the wheel of one of 65 vehicle types. The multiplayer component in "Watch Dogs" is unique in many ways. For one, you can access it while playing the single-player campaign. Simply bring up the in-game multiplayer menus and select a mode. These modes include everything from racing and tailing games to hacking games that allow you to play against others.
