Reviews
" Experimenting with Babies is a wonderful book, giving parents a hands-on way to understand their baby's emerging mind.  The experiments are easy, fun, and nicely annotated with the real science behind them.  What a fabulous way for parents to get to know their new child!" -Lise Eliot, Ph.D., Associate Professor of Neuroscience at the Chicago Medical School of Rosalind Franklin University and author of What's Going On in There? How the Brain and Mind Develop in the First Five Years of Life "With the marketplace urging parents to buy all manner of things to make their babies 'smart,' Gallagher's book offers parents a view based in science on how much babies really know and figure out on their own.  Parents will have fun with this book and gain new respect and awe for their babies' amazing capabilities." -Roberta Michnick Golinkoff, Ph.D., H. Rodney Sharp Professor, University of Delaware and coauthor of How Babies Talk, Einstein Never Used Flash Cards , and a Mandate for Playful Learning in Preschool, " Experimenting with Babies is a wonderful book, giving parents a hands-on way to understand their baby's emerging mind. I bought a new, shrink-wrapped journal from this seller. It arrived inside a bubble pack mailer from the US Postal Service and then another plastic envelope. It had a dent in the bottom of the cover, which it did not have in the listing picture, so that occurred in transit. It should have been packed in a box to prevent such damage. However, the seller promptly gave me the partial refund I asked for & was courteous. Would buy from seller again, but specify the packing I want ahead of shipping.

There was a mix up with my order and I did not receive the item. I got to keep the item i did receive and my money was refunded. This seller is obviously very honest and open and I totally commend them for that. They want to make sure that the customer is satisfied. It is not always that you come across these type of people any more. If you are in need of a book, please shop here first.
