The Heritage Edition brings together in one volume the two great foundation texts of the 1662 Book of Common Prayer Book and the King James Bible. The Prayer Book features clear, bold print and the Bible is in the Pitt Minion format., This attractively bound book brings together two of the most significant texts in the English language, the Prayer Book and the King James Bible. The Prayer Book contains the time-honoured text of the 1662 Book of Common Prayer, used in homes and churches throughout the world. The page format and layout are the same as the Cambridge BCP Enlarged Edition. The Bible has full cross-references and is in the classic Pitt Minion format, noted for its elegant layout. The text has been freshly typeset and unusually for a KJV Bible, features paragraph format. The book has a presentation page and two ribbon markers., The Heritage Edition commemorates the 350th anniversary of the 1662 Book of Common Prayer and the 400th anniversary of the King James Bible--two of the most significant works in the English language. Between them, these two precious texts have infused and shaped our language, with their words and phrases enriching not only the language of prayer but the speech of everyday life. This unique edition brings the Bible and Prayer Book together by binding them in one volume; the Prayer Book is at the front, followed by the KJV Pitt Minion Reference Edition of the Bible. There are two ribbon markers and three binding styles: black or purple calf split leather and blue hardcover, with black letter text.

It was shipped from Pennsylvania, to Atlanta, past Alabama to Texas, enjoyed several days in Texas, then to Minneapolis, Jacksonville, Florida, back to Atlanta, finally to Birmingham, and Huntsville. The seller was very responsive and I decided it was interesting to see if/how the book would arrive. Thanks, Joe
