"...well-written, civilizations-focused text that is accessible to students without talking down to them."             -Wayne Ackerson, Salisbury University   "The "Global Perspective" feature is superb. It is an excellent way to put themes into a global context, which brings significance to the topics of study."             -Heather Barry, St. Joseph's College   "...a very good balance between topical, thematic, and chronological approaches.  All three are necessary for students to derive the maximum value from the text."             -Dr. Anthony R. Santoro, Christopher Newport University   "The greatest challenge my students usually face is how to deal with thematic and more complex ideas on a wide geographic & chronological range. This book helps that."             -Kristen Post Walton, Salisbury University, "&well-written, civilizations-focused text that is accessible to students without talking down to them." -Wayne Ackerson, Salisbury University "The "Global Perspective" feature is superb. Mistakenly ordered a paperback that I thought was a hardcover, not sellers fault; it was described properly on the listing. Seller still processed a refund the day I went to return the item and let me keep the item anyway. A+++ service. Book arrived quickly in great condition and for a great price. Thank you so much! Amazing seller!

seller was communicative about my shipment, media mail took a while and tracking wasn't updated frequently, but seller communicated to me very quickly on status. the item came new and wrapped as described, though the packaging in it was packed wasn't sturdy and falling apart when it got to me.
