Synopsis
"A nuanced piece of history told simply and well." -- Kirkus Reviews Discover the story behind the Battle of Gettysburg through the eyes of war reporter Alfred Waud in this compelling graphic novel -- written and illustrated by National Book Award-longlisted creator Ellen T. Crenshaw. Presenting Who HQ Graphic Novels: an exciting addition to the #1 New York Times best-selling Who Was? series! See the Battle of Gettysburg through the eyes Alfred Waud, a special artist and war correspondent whose depiction of Pickett's Charge is thought to be the only visual account by an eyewitness. A story of extreme risk, strife, and the search for truth, this graphic novel invites readers to immerse themselves into the crucial Civil War battle -- brought to life by gripping narrative and vivid full-color illustrations that jump off the page.

- i***c (888)- Feedback lasciato dall'acquirente.Mese scorsoAcquisto verificatoThis is a frustrated positive feedback. I am always perplexed when sellers choose to ship via an "off-brand" shipper, e.g., OSM Worldwide. This tends to delay the time it takes to get to me vs more "traditioaal" shipped, e.g., USPS, UPS, or FED-EX. This is a pretty good seller. The price was good, the shipping pretty prompt (though deliver took a bit longer than I expected), and the communication was pretty good as well.
- z***i (1163)- Feedback lasciato dall'acquirente.Ultimi 6 mesiAcquisto verificatoI recently purchased a book from this Seller, and I couldn't be more pleased with the entire experience. The book arrived in excellent condition, exactly as described. It was packaged in a sturdy, reusable cardboard envelope using no plastic at all. Delivery was surprisingly fast, exceeding my expectations. I highly recommend this Seller!Wombat, the Reluctant Hero (N° 364491341296)
- 2***4 (111)- Feedback lasciato dall'acquirente.Ultimi 6 mesiAcquisto verificatoThis by far is the most amazing packaging ever. What an awesome surprise....The book ordered was in EXCELLENT perfect condition...I have purchased new books from ebay but never has one arrived as advertised "NEW" and perfect like this one. Kudos to this seller....I am beyond impressed...certainly will be a returning customer. The price for the book was half the price of the same book from other sellers...and it was a good buy. These Tangled Threads (Biltmore) (N° 305994249122)
