Notes
Susan has a very unique tone to her voice. Very strong, deep and sensual! This album is a must for your collection! Susan's C.D. called, "This and That", has some of her own music and her father's original music on it. Susan does an unbelievable performance on some jazz standards such as "Cry me a River" and "Angel Eyes." She features the famous guitar player, Jerry Donahue on her country cuts, and the incredible Nick Smith playing beautiful keyboards on her torch songs. Susan has been a variety act for many years as a singer and great guitar player. Susan is a long-time veteran in the Los Angeles area. Her versatility is unbelievable. Susan sings almost everything. Country, Torchy Standards, Rock and Roll, Blues, and does them all very well! Susan has the kind of voice that can be rich and full like Karen Carpenter or Diane Krall. She can also be rough and strong like Gretchen Wilson, Bonnie Raitt and she can be fun like Sheryl Crow. Susan is very popular in the country music scene and the rock and roll and Blues scene in Los Angeles. She has performed at L.A.'s popular, "Ronnie Mack Barndance" many, many times with some of Los Angeles' cream of the crop musicians. She has performed at the Cowboy Palace, a very popular country dance hall in Chatsworth, California. She works many venues regularly all over California, Las Vegas, and other Nevada areas. Susan spent several years traveling around the world playing music.

Hadn't heard of book; am a fan of the story of Lou Gehrig's short life & illness, & of the film, Pride of the Yankees; looked up his wife, Eleanor Gehrig, ordered the book, read the first chapter & the 7th, No Place to Hide, her life before leading up to the start of the Great Depression. Reads very well, to me, the story, the history, my own family stories on my mind; A+My Luke and I Eleanor Gehrig Joseph Durso (1977, 1st Printing, PB) Used (4034) (N° 256237572598)
