When I contacted the merchant they said I could send it back but refused to pay for the $23 in shipping it cost me to have it shipped!! Why should I pay for their mistake? It is possible the item was damaged during shipping although the buyer did not report any such issue. It is also possible that the item was damaged buy the buyer who may have dropped it? We were not there so it is hard to say.We decided to give the buyer the benefit of the doubt and offered 3 fair solutions.
