Did have some slight discomfort after a little while and was worried because my right little toe was feeling as though it would develop a blister before long but with socks of a higher cotton blend and tightening the laces a bit more that seemed to solve the issue. Also heard 100% wool socks are best for these boots. Wish I had theses boots instead of the black boots issued in the Marines in the early 70's.
