This Seagate internal HDD has a 2.5-inch form factor, suitable for laptops as well as power-constrained and/or space-constrained data centers. The SAS interface of this 15000 rpm hard drive transfers data at speeds of 6 Gbps. With a cache memory of 16 MB, the Seagate Savvio15K.2 lets you search stored records in seconds. As the operating temperature of this Seagate internal HDD is low, it consumes less power and dissipates less heat, ensuring cool and silent operation of the drive. The self-encrypting drive (SED) application of the Seagate Savvio15K.2 ensures high-grade security to your stored data.
