The condition of the box was a bit damaged as wrapped in a plastic postage bag. However better packaging would make the item more expensive so swings and roundabouts. I got it for a secret santa gift so all good. Was a bit delayed but that is probably down to Royal Mail and when I contacted them to ask if it had been posted they replied very quickly and in a helpful way.
