Please note some kitchen appliances (e.g. refrigerators, microwave ovens) are sometimes coated with a protective layer of paint or plastic and you may find the magnetic adhesion may allow the timer to fall off. With bare metal the timer holds pretty well. Great value for the money.

They are needed in the kitchen and go into "stealth mode" with no clock image. That happened and I got 2 more. I just need them. The order was placed and the stealth one I had popped back on. I found that one of these when acting up can be brought back to life setting it on a mild heat source like a radiator grille or above a lamp etc. They should be sealed and able to take regular kitchen moisture from countertop.

The ad shows a timer with a big magnet on the back, a small fold-out stand and uses a AAA battery. The timer shipped uses a button battery that needed a piece of foam added to make contact and the battery is so small that it will not hold the timer on a vertical surface. What you see described in the add is NOT what you will receive.
