Packed in a cardboard shipping box, padded with paper and bubble wrap on all sides. No bouncing around for this one, a smooth ride. Loco and box were in pristine condition, looked factory new, and was priced very well. I am very Happy! Definitely will watch Trains-West for more awesome deals. Easy winner of the Trainguy2013 seal of approval! A+++.
