Product Information

It's 2055 and the world has been decimated by genetic and biological weapons used during World War III. Earth's remaining inhabitants are a bunch of mutated freaks who have taken refuge in forests, underground, and in crumbling remains of the cities. A hideously deformed mass of ex-humanity called Sluggo has proclaimed himself leader of the mutants, subsequently promising death to all who still look human.<br><br>Professor Killdare, a cyborg programmed to repopulate Earth with human beings, has recruited six mutated people and turned them back into their human forms. This super hero bunch must destroy the evil mutants and thwart Sluggo's plans. During the first skirmish, four of the six Ex-Mutants are captured. The remaining two, Ackroyd and Shannon, must rescue their fellow super heroes. In this one player game, you chose which character you would like to control.<br><br>Ackroyd is armed with an ax; Shannon has a nunchaku. Each of them can add secondary weapons to their arsenal such as grenades, bouncing bombs, landmines, explosive charges, and homing orbs. Along with killing tons of mutants, the action in this game consists of climbing ladders, going up and down elevators, riding on the roof of a subway, riding a river log, and cruising on a minecar. The nine levels in this game take place in locations such as a forest, a cave, river rapids, the sewer, and in a skyscraper. Before leaving each stage, you must find a battery cell to give to Professor Killdare for use in his work.
