Note this product comes with starter batteries but a ac/dc power adapter is an optional extra. This is NOT clearly stated on the box or advertising BUT this price for a Clinically Certified Unit (by Medeval) and also top rating from Choice is still a Bargain especially when you need ACCURACY .

When contacted, Cutprice Pharmacy stated that the new product had the same barcode as the other product. To their credit though, they replied to every message and have now refunded the cost of my order. Would I recommend this seller? The seller packed this item which is in a glass jar very securely with protective wrapping and they sent it in a cardboard box. I was relieved and very thankful for the care they took, as I didn't want it to get broken. Would recommend this seller to others.
