The polished mahogany ear-cup structures of the Denon AH-D5000 headphone set draw on the acoustic properties of the wood to provide you with a soothing, warm sound. Small holes on the outside of the mahogany ear cups further heighten the sound experience. For comfort, the earphones come with extra padding for the ears and an adjustable padded headband. The ear pads are covered with a thick black padding that will keep your ears comfortable at all times. The drivers found on this pair of Denon headphones are equipped with neodymium magnets. The frequency range goes all the way from 5 to 45,000 Hz, supporting an expansive volume range. A cable extending nearly 10 feet with a 3.5mm plug conveniently attaches the earphones to your audio system. At 10 feet in length, you are not bound to the area immediately surrounding where the device is hooked up. In addition, the phones come with an adapter for connecting to quarter-inch jacks. Whether you are mixing music or watching a DVD in private, the headphones consistently give you clear, well-defined sound. The microfiber diaphragm equipped on this D5000 headphone set is around 100x denser than standard diaphragms. This ensures a better sonic reproduction and enhanced transmission rates. At just under a pound in weight, these Denon AH-D5000 headphones are highly portable. Whether taking a lengthy train ride or using them at work, they can be worn for a long time. The reason for the light weight of these headphones is the inclusion of a magnesium frame. At a size of 5.0 inches by 8.9 inches by 10.6 inches, they can easily fit into a bag or large purse. The framing of these D5000 headphones is equipped with extra cushioning to make sure that you are as comfortable as possible. An acoustic optimizer is installed directly into this Denon AH-D5000 headphone set, allowing for great acoustic performance. The cables attached to these Denon headphones are high-purity oxygen-free cables that are equipped with a cloth mesh jacket.
