A genre-defining first-person shooter from EA DICE and Electronic Arts, Battlefield 3 is the first main canon direct sequel in the Battlefield series of video games to be released for the Sony PlayStation 3 (PS3), with Battlefield 2 having only been available as a PC edition. Overall, the game is the eleventh installment in the popular Battlefield series and has remained a popular addition since its 2011 release date. Covering various locations around the globe, including Paris, New York City and Azerbaijan, but mostly focusing on Tehran and Iraq, Battlefield 3 – Limited Edition on the PS3 is the story of the War of 2014. Players control four characters in the campaign mode, which centers on flashbacks and the U.S. Marines. These characters are Staff Sergeant Henry “Black” Blackburn; Sergeant Jonathan “Jono” Miller; Lieutenant Jennifer “Wedge” Colby Hawkins; and Dimitri “Dima” Mayakovsky. The game’s cooperative mode benefits from the Battlelog social network, which enables text-based and voice communications between players across a range of platforms. This system also handles in-game statistics and the ability to join games hosted by friends, provided all players are on the same consoles. Multiplayer remains one of the Battlefield games’ strengths in Battlefield 3 – Limited Edition on the PS3. Players can choose from four unique specialties, each with their own weapon proficiencies and abilities. The assault role has a focus on assault rifles and medical support, while the engineer class places emphasis on the support and destruction of vehicles. The recon role is all about remote support, sniping enemies from a distance and placing radio beacons as a spawn point, and the support role concentrates on light machine guns and supplying ammunition to teammates. Multiplayer game modes are numerous and varied, with a choice that includes Conquest, Rush and Squad Deathmatch. Also included for a change is Team Deathmatch, which hasn’t been seen in any Battlefield game since the classic Battlefield 1942. Running on Electronic Arts DICE studio’s Frostbite 2 engine, Battlefield 3 – Limited Edition on the PS3 represents a benchmark in first-person shooter gaming, providing excellent visuals, lighting effects, lifelike animations and a massive sense of scale in the maps. The game engine is also known for its audio quality and realism, including bullets whizzing past and environmental destruction and explosions that throw you to the ground to immerse players like never before in the experience of war. Amid the carnage, players are forced to duck for cover, drag wounded comrades into safety and get strategic with virtually any environmental feature to mount weapons. A range of vehicles adds to the realism of the missions and includes land, air and sea vehicles. Among the most impressive and welcome of these offerings are fighter jets, complete with sonic boom sound effects. Terrains vary to accommodate different vehicles, ranging from open landscapes to tightly packed streets and downtown areas. Special content bundled with this limited edition version of the game includes the digital multiplayer expansion pack for the PS3 Battlefield 3: Back to Karkand, which features four iconic Battlefield 2 maps upgraded with the destructive and visual characteristics of the Frostbite 2 engine. This limited-edition version of Battlefield 3 on the PS3 also includes a weapons and vehicles pack from Battlefield 2, along with exclusive rewards, achievements and trophies. With a wide scope for offline and online gameplay, along with plenty of downloadable content (DLC) and upgrades including extra multiplayer modes, Battlefield 3 – Limited Edition on the Sony PlayStation 3 (PS3) promises hours of military gaming fun for fans and newcomers.

I already own a copy of the GOY edition as I showed the seller in the attached picture. The seller kept giving excuses & refused to admit the mistake. Seller doesn't understand that there are 2 versions of the same game that each have their own respective gamerscore of 1000 points. He believes because they have the same achievement list they're the same version.
