    The colours and feel of the item fits the description. I cannot definitely say if they really are antique, but to my inexpert hands seem more like antique style rather than truly antique. They seem new and unused, and that would be very unusual for antique lace. The pricing also hints at new made in antique style.

    Thank you for your feedback; I truly appreciate it. I would like to clarify that all of my laces are antique—some are older than others. The handmade linen pieces date back to the very beginning of the 20th century, while the machine-made cotton pieces are from around the mid-century. I have a very large collection that was carefully preserved in the home of a former lace manufacturer, which is why many of the pieces are still in excellent condition, though some are not as well preserved.
