Synopsis
Urban Flashes Asia is a bold conceptual and architectural response to the contemporary city. Supplanting recent Western accounts of urban developments, centred largely on European research, it introduces an emergent network of globally dispersed architects, theorists and urbanists. Working primarily, though not exclusively, out of Asia, the contributors of Urban Flashes Asia are a globally active body that is fast developing a rapidly evolving language of urban imagination and intervention. This is a new and intriguing version of events, which is wholly in step with the simultaneous and spontaneous nature of urban developments in Asia, as China and much of the surrounding region comes alive. It features an interview with the Japanese master Kazuo Shinohara and a Practice Profile of pioneering Chinese architect Yung Ho Chang., Urban Flashes Asia , from Wiley's Architectural Design series is a bold conceptual and architectural response to Eurocentric research in architecture. - u***u (725)- Feedback lasciato dall'acquirente.Ultimi 6 mesiAcquisto verificatoCarefully packaged book- arrived wrapped in plastic bag and shipped in cardboard box. As a frequent book buyer I appreciate this as so many books are just crammed into a plastic shopping bag and sent on their way- sometimes always hanging out of the bag. I know that Midtown Book Seller books will arrive as described. Shipped promptly. I’d highly recommend them as a seller.
- 9***n (325)- Feedback lasciato dall'acquirente.Mese scorsoAcquisto verificatoExcellent experience with this eBay used book seller! The books arrived in perfect condition, as described, and their pristine condition exceeded my expectations. What impressed me most was the speed of shipping: the book arrived much earlier than expected. Furthermore, the packaging was careful and professional, ensuring the book arrived undamaged. Thanks a lot! ❤️❤️❤️❤️
- c***i (102)- Feedback lasciato dall'acquirente.Ultimi 6 mesiAcquisto verificatoBook was in very good condition as described in the listing. It looked almost new, in fact, but the pages did have some yellowing around the edges, a sign of its age. The seller did an excellent job of wrapping and packing the book for shipment, which I greatly appreciate! He has earned his 100% feedback rating, I'd say. I'm extremely pleased with the seller and this transaction. Thank you!
