Synopsis
The wetland is a murky, moist, and mysterious world. Atop its glittering surface and beneath its shadowy depths, birds, bass, minks, and muskrats struggle to survive and flourish. Madeleine Dunphy's lyrical prose shows the relationships between the wetland's plants and animals, giving young readers a clear picture of how each living creature depends on the others for survival. Illustrator Wayne McLoughlin adds stunning visuals, with luminous, detailed paintings that convey the fragile beauty and complexity of this critically important ecological community., Using cumulative verse, this book introduces children to the birds, bass, minks, muskrats, frogs, snakes and others that live in wetland environments, while giving young readers an understanding of how each creature is inextricably linked together in the chain of life. It was shipped in a bubble mailer, so there was some minor damage to it on edges. No big deal, still worth the price! Seller was communicative and recieved my message when I dmed them about an issue. The Husky and His White Cat Shizun: Erha He Ta De Bai Mao Shizun (Novel) Vol... (N° 365568611637)
- r***k (92)- Feedback lasciato dall'acquirente.Ultimi 6 mesiAcquisto verificatoAAA+++ Book arrived on time & undamaged. Could have been protected by a box but came came shipped in bubble shipping slip. Lucky I guess. As advertised used but in like new condition. Sells else where for around $100.00 locally. Price was worth the chance. Collection book for my wife & made her happy. Would buy again but hope for better packing for a hard cover book. Quick shipping
- m***m (14)- Feedback lasciato dall'acquirente.Ultimi 6 mesiAcquisto verificatoShipped promptly and packed up securely. All books are in great condition. The box part of the box set looks like it may have come apart and was taped up on one of the upper corners. Not a big deal to me and the box still fits all the books securely, but the taping was not mentioned in the description. Would have been disappointing if I was looking for a box set that looked like it was in mint or near mint condition. The Witcher Boxed Set: The Last Wish, Sword of Destiny, Blood of Elves, Time...
